In July 2021, Portuguese law firm Abreu Advogados announced a partnership with Armindo Serqueira & Associados. Through this partnership, Abreu runs a Guinea-Bissau Desk, coordinated in Portugal, for clients with interests in the country.

Armindo Serqueira & Associados and Abreu Advogados are independent law firms. The partnership is not a merger, joint venture or integration of the two firms.

The firm also worked with Abreu Advogados on the legal content of the Guinea-Bissau Investment Guide 2023/2024 (CCIPGB, October 2023), including the employment chapter.
